FRESH KNICKERS (and a Gin and Tonic)

3 Sep by Sharon Scott

Dear Springers, I’m getting in touch on behalf of a new musical called FRESH KNICKERS (and a Gin and Tonic) which is heading to the Headgate Theatre, Colchester and Gallery Theatres across September. The show is a quick-witted comedy which follows the character
of Cheryl as she battles with Menopause symptoms. The show has almost sold out in all venues, which demonstrates the need for our community to engage with it’s themes. Alongside the show, we are also holding a series of free workshops for people in local areas
which aim to breakdown taboo’s surrounding Menopause through song, text and creative play. The workshops are open to anyone, we’d love to invite members of your society to join. We’d also be grateful if you were able to spread the word through newsletters,
social media and any other channels available to you. Here is a breakdown of the sessions: 4th September 7-8.30pm This session will include lyric writing, music and creativity around the themes of Menopause. Location: Firstsite, Lewis Gardens, High Street,
