Springers is an amateur theatre and drama group based in Chelmsford, Essex. Don’t let the term ‘amateur’ fool you, our talented performers and production teams put on shows that would rival many professional productions. Springers performs two musicals per year at Chelmsford’s city centre Cramphorn and Civic Theatres ranging from popular classics to newer contemporary works.
Offspringers is the offshoot youth drama group from the main Springers drama group. It was formed in 1996 and caters for around 60 children aged between 7 and 16. Offspringers perform one full-length musical each year at the Cramphorn Theatre alongside participating in workshops an to develop their skills in singing, acting and dancing.
